Night Sky Photography Portfolio

My night sky photography portfolio brings together some of my favourite images captured beneath the stars across Australia and around the world. From the Milky Way rising over remote mountain ranges to aurora, storms and dark-sky landscapes, these photographs combine wild places with some of the most incredible conditions the night sky can produce.

As an Australian travel and night sky photographer, I’m drawn to locations far from city lights where the landscape becomes part of the story. Years of travelling, camping and photographing remote places have taken me beneath some incredible skies, from the Flinders Ranges and outback Australia to mountains and coastlines around the world.

My Night Sky Images

My night sky photography portfolio is shaped by years of travelling to remote places, waiting for clear skies and planning around the moon, weather and changing conditions. From photographing the Milky Way in South Australia to chasing aurora overseas, night photography has become one of my favourite ways to document the places I visit.

What I love most about astrolandscape photography is that the landscape still matters. Mountains, coastlines, deserts and outback locations provide the foreground, while the stars, Milky Way, aurora or changing weather transform the scene above.

As a night sky photographer from Australia, I’ve photographed everything from dark-sky locations in the Flinders Ranges to northern lights and dramatic night landscapes around the world. The unpredictability is part of what keeps me coming back — no two nights ever look exactly the same.
